Community Day 2025 –
A Day of Connection & Giving!

On Saturday, August 9th, The Sonya Denise Foundation joined the Acts of Random Kindness Annual Bar-B-Cue & Community Day at 1600 W. Luzerne Street in Philadelphia.
It was a joyful day filled with food, games, free haircuts, school supplies, and clothing giveaways. Our foundation’s table welcomed community members with encouragement cards, water bottles, and resources to inspire hope and resilience.
We connected with neighbors, shared smiles, and celebrated the power of coming together for a common purpose. A heartfelt thank-you to our volunteers, partners, and everyone who stopped by to show support — you made the day unforgettable!
